Your communities. Our connections.
We’re Tidal Buses, connecting Durness & Shire, including the Westmere and Caithmere regions.
Here for the journeys that matter.
We provide local, regional and interurban bus services linking towns, villages and key transport hubs across Durness & Shire.
From Durness and Braemar to Keoldale, Sangobeg, Portnancon and surrounding communities, our services help commuters, students, residents and visitors get where they need to go.
A network for everyone
Our network connects town centres, residential communities, transport interchanges and regional destinations. Conventional services and specially branded routes make it easier to recognise your travel options.
Behind your journey
Our fleet includes modern single-deck and double-deck buses, alongside specialist vehicles for selected services. Depots and operational facilities, including Braemar and Portnancon, support maintenance and the day-to-day running of our network.
A cleaner way forward
We are continuing to modernise our fleet with newer, lower-emission and fully electric buses. Alongside improvements to depot infrastructure, this investment supports our aim to reduce emissions and improve passenger comfort.
Passengers at the centre
We aim to provide accessible, straightforward and dependable travel, supported by clear timetables, useful information and a recognisable network of services.
